This is a DC rectifier to power my solar panel motors and eliminate my battery.

It can automatically sense the solar panel supply and sense night time and shut itself off in both cases, saving 61kwh or more per year, for just one wall adapter. It is made of junk parts I had in my parts collection. It was using 7 watts, while plugged in and not in use, and 18 watts when turning both motors for 2 seconds every 30 seconds. The solar panel no longer needs a short lived battery for a backup system, and yet the small solar panel, which is powering the motors, is still useful.

I added a 1K resistor to the pnp collector. It is not in the video. It is in here: http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/4684/walladaptersolarschemat.png and the perforated board layout: http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/9938/walladaptersolarpwrperf.png and the same is here: Solar rotator power schematic.png Solar motor power perf.png
