Not quite sure wht this is, says: These are the schematics that show you how to wire an adapter board for connection of up to three HD44780 (or compatible) displays to the parallel port of your Linux box. LED backlight and contrast adjustment are supported by these wirings. The schematics describe the 8bit "winamp" wiring, as supported by LCDproc 0.4.1 and up. More investigation might help. | Not quite sure wht this is, says: These are the schematics that show you how to wire an adapter board for connection of up to three HD44780 (or compatible) displays to the parallel port of your Linux box. Lots of external Eagle Links
Magic key words for searching the links, in the Topic column.
- Projects: project descriptions, enough to reproduce the project, not just nice pictures
- EFiles: File(s) in eagle format
- Tutorial: a tutorial or how to
- Link: a link to more links
- Parts: Part libarie(s)
- Info: Useful information that does not rise to a tutorial, misc. tips.
So for example if you are looking for sample Eagle files search on EFiles.
There were several sites where there is quite a bit of information. These include cadsoft.com sparkfun.com. instructables.org
One of the biggest omissions is the cadsoft site itself. Poke around a bit, we will fix this problem with the list sometime in the future.

Just a tip on editing pads in Eagle.
| |
|
The main application I use for PCB design is Eagle and the rest of this thread will concentrate on producing PCB's with this software. However I will describe dealing with other formats.

|
How to mill using Eagle as the design tool.

In this guide I will show you how to build your own Function Generator. Including component selection, designing the circuit, breadboarding, PCB layout, homemade PCB manufacture through to the finished product. It uses a XR2206 function generator chip

This simple circuit will let you check if a crystal oscillator is working. Simply connect the crystal between the two labelled points, and connect 5V+ to the power connector.
